This new "NEO" model from Cardo represents the pinnacle of universal helmet communications technology, aggressively priced and packaged to be a hard deal to beat.
Compared this he Cardo Packtalk Edge, the only model above this Neo unit, the technical specs are just about identical. The Edge model gets a very slightly fancier docking mechanism, with a magnet, but otherwise they're the same size and offer the same functionality. So this is the one we're concentrating on.
It comes with a clamp or an adhesive dock, as well as a wired mic for full-face helmets, and a boom mic for modular or open-face.
These units can communicate with other Cardo-brand units or ( they promise) any other brand, like Sena, on either a traditional bluetooth channel, or via the newer dynamic mesh method, which is more stable and can accomodate larger groups of riders.
